About Mt. Elgon Coffee Estate
Located on the volcanic slopes of Mt. Elgon at 2,000 MASL, this estate produces some of Kenya's most award-winning specialty lots. The K7 variety thrives in the rich volcanic soil and rainforest microclimate. The sealed-tank CO₂ anaerobic fermentation process — the estate's signature method — produces complex wine-like and tropical fruit cups that have earned multiple competition placements at East African and international specialty events including AFCA 2026.
